Doodlebug Classic Mini-Card No.4

Here is the 4th mini-card that I've made from the Doodlebug Essentials Classic Collection kit. This time I've added some purple card from my card scrap box, a piece of Create and Play Club's black scalloped velvet ribbon and a couple of Adalyn white flowers. (The smallest flower was coloured purple by using the Grape dye ink pad and a sponge dauber).

The black butterfly has a strip of purple card wrapped around it to make antennae and the words were again made with the black alphabet rub-ons that came with the kit.

I've had this purple patterned paper in my stash for about 10 years! I'm trying to use up some of my older stuff so I used it for the card insert and to make the envelope.

In my next post I'll show you the mini-pizza box that I made to hold these 4 mini-cards and envelopes.

I really want to start making my Christmas cards, but have just realized that I have 6 birthday cards that I need to make before then! I always say that next year I'll be organized for Christmas early, but it never seems to happen!

Happy creating,

Helen.
