My first Create and Play Club order arrived this week.
There were a few items (including stamp sets) that are on back-order but they should be here within the week. I ordered the Introductory Stamping set, the Tool Kit and a few extras. Here is what I received:
These are some of the items in the Tool Kit. (Sorry, my photo editing skills need a lot of improvement I know!) I already have some of these items in different brands, but I decided to change over to the Create and Play brands, and will be using them in classes. The cutting mat is 12" x12" which is bigger than my old ones (and it's PINK on the other side!) and it has some different and useful measuring lines on it. I'll have to also use my old craft mats in classes for a while until the budget allows me to buy extra new ones, but everyone can have a try of this one - it's much better!
I'll use up my old adhesives first and then buy all the new ones from Create and Play. Like everyone, I have to keep to budget and buy items gradually - otherwise I'd buy it all now! :)
My large paper cutter died recently, so I was glad to get this great new one.
Here are my new ink pads, blocks (to mount stamps on) and sponge daubers. I'll show you how I use these items in future posts.
I really need to improve my photo editing skills! :) Here is some tulle, crochet lace and Adalyn flowers, all in white. I would have loved them in every colour but will try colouring some of them with various products. I definitely want to get more though as there are some lovely colours available. Also I received some black cardstock, which is also useful.
Here's a close-up of all those lovely flowers.
Some aqua velvet ribbon, red tulle, pink pom pom trim and some crystals and pearls.
Lots of lovely things - chipboard numbers and frames, markers and border punch, cutting and embossing dies and more. (I don't have a Cuttlebug yet but will buy one as soon as the budget allows. In the meantime, I'll use my Big Shot).
Some cardstock in great colours.
And finally, some catalogues and flyers. (Catalogues as $5 each plus postage. Please email me at createandplayhelen@gmail.com if you would like one).
I'm looking forward to playing with all this lovely stuff. The tiling of my craft room is finished, but I'm waiting for my son and husband to move all the furniture back in. I had a go at moving it myself as I'm impatient, but hurt my back so I have to wait for help. I'm not very good at waiting :)
As soon as everything is in place, I'll post some pictures of my room and then start creating!
Happy creating,
Helen.
